STM PROJECTS

Join us in mission! We invite you to look through the Short-Term Mission (STM) trips below.

Our STM application process requires two forms to be submitted:

  1. The interest form for the specific STM(s) you’d like to join. The interest form link for each open STM can be found by its description below.
  2. General STM Trip Application: Required to participate in any WHCC short-term mission trip each year. If you decide to join multiple trips within one year, you only need to fill out the application once.


Please note that the interest form and application will need to be reviewed by the trip leaders and does not guarantee acceptance to join the mission trip.



2026 Mexico STM

2026 December

REGISTRATION TO OPEN

DATES: December 25, 2026 (FRI) – January 1 (FRI)

LOCATION: El Higo, Veracruz, Mexico and surrounding villages

GOAL: To share God's love and the Gospel with children in remote villages and help local pastors strengthen new and existing churches

ACTIVITIES: 

  1. Share God's great love and salvation plan through Jesus Christ with Gospel-centered children's services in rural villages.
  2. Strengthen new and existing churches and uplift local pastors, building goodwill among the communities.
  3. Visit and encourage residents and staff at a local Children's home.
  4. Additional ministry opportunities as needed.

WHO CAN APPLY:

  1. Believers who have a heart for evangelism and short-term missions.
  2. An adult guardian must accompany children and youth under 18.
  3. Spousal/family participation strongly encouraged.
  4. Must participate in required preparation meetings, training sessions, and fundraising events; and be committed for the entire mission trip.

ESTIMATED COST: $750 per person

2027 Thailand STM

2027 February

REGISTRATION TO OPEN

DATES: February 3 (WED) – February 10 (WED)

LOCATION: Thailand

GOAL: Grow in our faith and understanding of missions by stepping outside of our everyday lives, serving others, and learning from those who have been called to ministry around the world.

ACTIVITIES: 

  1. Serve
    Serve our global partners at their annual conference by leading the children’s and youth programs.
  2. Learn
    Learn more about missions by meeting missionary families, hearing their stories, and gaining a deeper understanding of their ministry.
  3. Pray
    Pray for our global partners and their ministries

WHO CAN APPLY: English-speaking adults who are teachable, willing to serve, and want to encourage and support our global partners.

ESTIMATED COST: $2000 (depending on the airfare)




2027 Parents Camp

2027 Summer

REGISTER HERE

DATES: Summer 2027 (Exact dates TBD)

LOCATION: China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, or Malaysia (one of these four locations)

GOAL:

  1. Lead parents to faith in Jesus Christ.
  2. Through the Gospel, encourage family reconciliation and build more blessed parent-child relationships

ACTIVITIES:

  1. Pray for unbelieving parents before the camp
  2. Prepare for the camp
  3. Serve the parents during the camp

WHO CAN APPLY:

  1. Mandarin-speaking seniors and their children who can communicate in Mandarin
  2. Their adult children must participate in the pre-camp preparation meetings beginning on September 6, 2026.

2027 Camp Blessing Youth STM

May 31 – June 5, 2027

DATES: May 31 (Mon) – June 5 (Sat), 2027

LOCATION: Local Camp Blessing 

GOAL: Through a Christ-centered camp experience, we seek to support individuals with special needs and share the eternal hope of the Gospel with them.

ACTIVITIES: Serve in different roles based on their grade level (Crew, Cabin Hand, Buddy, or Cabin Parent), supporting and/or leading campers with special needs throughout the week.

WHO CAN APPLY: Youth and adults

COST: $560 per person ( $150 per person deposit due at registration)

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: September 14, 2026

2026 South Texas STM

2026 August

Trip Completed

DATES: August 14 (FRI) – August 16 (SUN)

LOCATION: Port Lavaca and Corpus Christi, Texas

GOAL: To share the Gospel, serve the church, and care for the community through various ministries, helping people come to know Christ and build a lasting faith.

ACTIVITIES: 

  1. Share the Gospel through evangelistic outreach meetings.
  2. Partner with local churches to lead Sunday worship services and provide ministry training.
  3. Visit local families in need and reach out to friends who are seeking the Gospel.
  4. Additional ministry opportunities as needed.

WHO CAN APPLY:

  1. Baptized Christians for at least three years.
  2. Have a heart for evangelism and short-term missions.
  3. Must participate in all required preparation meetings and training sessions, and be available for the entire mission trip.

ESTIMATED COST: $250 per person



2026 Camp Blessing Youth STM

2026 June

TRIP COMPLETED

We will be sending a youth short-term mission (STM) team to Camp Blessing where they will serve kids with special needs in a Christ-centered environment. If you’d like more details, email [email protected].

2026 Nepal STM

2026 Feb 7-20

TRIP COMPLETED

Led by Elder Hon Chung Lau, the team will be traveling to Nepal to support local churches, missionaries and ministry to orphans. We thank the Lord that team recruitment has been completed.

2025 Mexico STM

December 25 - January 1

TRIP COMPLETED

Service & Church Building: Join us as we partner with children from a local orphanage to bring worship and joy to kids in remote villages. Together, we’ll also encourage and support local pastors as they grow their church ministries.
