    Starting Sunday, June 14, our 11 AM English Sunday worship service will be intergenerational, with elementary-age children joining their parents and Youth Talk also taking a pause for the summer.     The pickup location will be in the back lobby, in front of the “The Next Supper”painting. Sample shirts will also be available during this period for size reference and fitting.

  • GLOBAL MINISTRY FELLOWSHIP GATHERING | SAT, JUN 27

    Brothers and sisters who have a heart for global missions are warmly invited to join the Global Missions Fellowship. Through regular gatherings, we seek to stay informed about mission work around the world, share vision, pray for one another, and learn together how to respond to the Lord’s Great Commission.   • FATHER-DAUGHTER EVENT NIGHT: NEVER FORGET I LOVE YOU | SUN, AUG 8

    W Family Ministry will be hosting a joyful Father-Daughter Night on Saturday, August 8, from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM. The evening will include dancing, a message, dinner, and meaningful bonding and fellowship activities.


    Registration Fee: $20 per pair, $5 for each additional participant

    Age: Fathers and daughters, children ages 5 and up

    Speaker: Pastor Andy Lee

    Additionally, we are collecting supplies for the event! Please see the list of needed items here. If you have any of these items available to donate, we would greatly appreciate your support. Please place donated items in the collection bin next to the Children's Ministry check-in desk as early as possible. Thank you!

  • SUMMER COLLEGE FELLOWSHIP | MAY - AUG

    Summer College Fellowship is happening! All graduating high school seniors to graduating college seniors are welcome to join our college fellowship over the summer! It will be a joint fellowship between WHCC and KCCC college students for a time of fellowship and study over C.S. Lewis' Screwtape Letters, with parallel scripture passages. Meetings will be every Saturday morning, from 10 AM - 12 PM.

  • NEW PATHWAYS CLASS: BEGINNINGS: READING GENESIS 1-12 INDUCTIVELY | JUN 14 - AUG 23

    Please join us for a new Pathways class that will start on Sunday, June 14, starting at 9:30 AM in Room 153. Together we will walk through Genesis 1:1–12:3, tracing the Bible’s opening story from creation and fall to judgment, promise, and the call of Abraham. Along the way, we will practice inductive Bible study together, learning how careful observation of the text leads us to deeper understanding of God’s purposes for His world and His people.   • YOUNG ADULT HOUSTON FOOD BANK VOLUNTEERING | SAT, JUN 20

    Our next Young Adult Ministry event will be volunteering with Houston Food Bank! Houston Food Bank serves those who are food-insecure in achieving enough nutritious food to fuel a healthy life. Please come and join us on Saturday, June 20 from 1:00 - 4:00 PM for an opportunity to fellowship by serving together! Click here to register and for more information.

  • 2026 SHUYING HWO MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

    Shuying Huang was a devout Christian who loved the Lord throughout her life and hoped to help more people come to know Jesus Christ. In memory of her, her family established this scholarship in 2014. This year, up to 10 students will each receive a $1,000 scholarship.


    Applicants must be graduating high school seniors who will enroll in a full-time college program, or current full-time undergraduate college students.


    Applications will be accepted from May 20 through June 20. Please download the application form, complete it, and email it to: [email protected].


    The list of award recipients will be announced on July 12. The award ceremony will be held during the Mandarin Sunday worship service on July 26. All awardees are kindly requested to reserve time to attend.

  • SUPPORT THE GLOBAL URBAN TREK (GUT) PROGRAM

    This summer, we'll be hosting the Global Urban Trek (GUT) orientation (6/17-6/21) and debrief sessions (7/28-8/3)—and we need your help! Here are a few ways to get involved:


    • Host College Students: Provide short-term housing for GUT participants. (Register)
    • Provide Meals: Help prepare or sponsor meals during the events. (Register)
    • Donate Items: Contribute needed supplies. (Register) Please bring donated items to church on Sunday and place them in the collection box in front of the painting of The Next Supper.

  • D-CAMP & IMPACT YOUTH CAMPS

    Come join our Youth Summer camp where we spend the week learning about Jesus, making new friends, and having a great time!

    • Impact (July 18-22, 2026) – For incoming 10th-12th graders & graduated seniors
    • D-Camp (July 22-25, 2026) – For incoming 6th-9th graders

  • SUPPORT GROUP: PARENTS OF KIDS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

    WHCC's Care Ministry hosts a monthly Support Group for Parents of Kids with Special Needs. Childcare will be provided for kids and teens with special needs and their siblings, for parents attending the support group.
