On the second Wednesday of every month from 7:00–7:30 PM, we invite you to join our Global Ministry Online Prayer Meeting. Our global partners are bridge-builders, bringing the gospel to people around the world. They need your faithful prayers and support. Join us as we lift them up in prayer!

Do you ever wonder what the abundant life Jesus came to give us is about? Come taste and see the goodness of God at our annual fall kickoff! We will be hosting a ministry fair this year to invite everyone, young and old, to learn and experience what life in Christ at W is about. If you are not in a life group or small group, this will be a good opportunity for you to meet the groups and get plugged in. See you there on Saturday, September 5th, from 4 to 7 PM! The fundraiser for the South Texas STM on Sunday, July 26 raised $2,348. Thank you for your generous support!

Please continue to support the mission team through your prayers and giving. Pray for safe travels during their trip August 14–16, and that God will bless their ministry with lasting impact as they serve the local community.

Our youth short-term mission trip to Camp Blessing will be held from May 31 to June 5, 2027, with the goal of sharing the love of Christ with children and young people with special needs. Registration is now open, and we warmly invite all interested youth to sign up.

There will be a sharing on August 30, from 12:30-1:30 PM in Room 153 for this year's team to share about their ministry and experience, as well as more information on next year's trip—all are welcome to attend and learn more!

Please join us throughout the month of August to hear about the ministry being done by our global partners from all over the world! All sharings will take place during lunch, from 12:30 - 1:30 PM on the following days:

• August 9: Sister Z — Central Asia Ministry | Room 153
• August 16: Putao & Kat — Meishan, Taiwan Ministry | Room 153
• August 23: Martin & Alice — Bible Translation Ministry | Room 103 — They will share about their journey of serving with Wycliffe Global Alliance and their ongoing Bible translation ministry among unreached people groups in Canada and Africa.
• August 23: 2026 Parents Camp STM | Room 153 — There will be testimonies and sharing from previous participants, as well as information on 2027 Parents Camp! Brothers and sisters who are passionate about reaching parents for Christ are warmly invited to attend.
• August 30: Camp Blessing STM | Room 153 — Come and learn more about the 2027 Camp Blessing STM, as well as hear testimonies from those who went on this year's mission trip. Parents are especially encouraged to attend together with their teenagers.

Do you have a heart for serving children and adults with special needs? The Care Ministry warmly invites you to join our Special Needs (SN) Program volunteer team. Together, we can provide a welcoming and supportive environment where individuals with special needs can experience Christ's love and be fully included in our church family. No prior experience is necessary. Training and ongoing support will be provided.

Please mark your calendars for the weekend of October 9 for a time of fellowship and spiritual replenishment with our English congregation! This year's Fall Retreat will take place at Trinity Pines in Trinity, TX.

Starting Sunday, June 14, our 11 AM English Sunday worship service will be intergenerational, with elementary-age children joining their parents and Youth Talk also taking a pause for the summer. Summer College Fellowship is happening! All graduating high school seniors to graduating college seniors are welcome to join our college fellowship over the summer! It will be a joint fellowship between WHCC and KCCC college students for a time of fellowship and study over C.S. Lewis' Screwtape Letters, with parallel scripture passages. Meetings will be every Saturday morning, from 10 AM - 12 PM.

Please join us for a new Pathways class that will start on Sunday, June 14, starting at 9:30 AM in Room 153. Together we will walk through Genesis 1:1–12:3, tracing the Bible’s opening story from creation and fall to judgment, promise, and the call of Abraham. Along the way, we will practice inductive Bible study together, learning how careful observation of the text leads us to deeper understanding of God’s purposes for His world and His people. WHCC's Care Ministry hosts a monthly Support Group for Parents of Kids with Special Needs. Childcare will be provided for kids and teens with special needs and their siblings, for parents attending the support group.
